Cove Animal Rescue is a 501-c-3 charitable organization that cares for the animals that are housed at the shelter located on Shore Rd in Glen Cove.   Cove Animal Rescue has doubled the size of the shelter and strives for home-like surroundings to increase the adoptability of our homeless dogs and cats. 

We have now added six spacious stalls for dog boarding- so that each dog has a beautiful outdoor run protected from the elements.  "Happy Tales Boarding"  will provide home-away-from-home boarding and proceeds will help to cover the costs of caring for our pets awaiting their forever home.  This is a way for you to care for your pet while away and help your community.
